Pepsico's AP investment part of India commitment - Indra Nooyi at Sri City

Its a known fact that Pepsico had announced for setting up its beverages plants in Sri City, Chitoor - AP sometime in 2013. And its finally turned into a reality with the inaugration of the plant by the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Sri Nara Chandra Babu Naidu on Apr 3, 2015. Naidu further expressed confidence that Sri City will turn out to be a great commercial hub in the next 10 yrs and APs longest coastal line makes it the best place for the firms.

Indra Nooyi, CEO of Pepsico says "for more than 25 yrs, Pepsico has been committed to partnership, growth and mutual success across communities all over India. For more than 25 yrs they have been investing in India and its people. We move forward with the next 25 yrs. That commitment is stronger than ever. And this plant is the latest product of investment in India and are so excited to see it up and running. In the next few months, it will start producing some of their iconic beverages covering soft drinks, Pepsi, 7 up, Mirinda, Mountain Dew, and also will be adding the sports drinks and fruit based beverages as well".
