India President Pranab Mukherjee visited Yadagirigutta in Hyderabad to offer prayers. He was received at the Vadaigudem helipad by Governor Narasimhan and Telangana Chief Minister Mr. K Chandra Sekhar Rao. From there, they reached the Yadagirigutta in special convoy to offer prayers to Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple. The Indian president was received at the temple by 50 brahman pandits before performing the pooja activities. Its said that the Indian President Pranab Mukherjee was in the temple premises till 2 pm performing various pooja activities for the welfare of all the citizens and the nation.
Its said in the past 3 other Indian Presidents visited Yadagirigutta. 55 Years ago, India's first President Dr. Rajendra Prasad visited the place in 1956 July. In 1963, Dr. Sarvepalli Radha Krishnan and Shankar Dayal Sharma in 1995 visited the place. Exactly 20 yrs after, President Pranab Mukherjee visited Yadagirigutta today.
Since the visit was planned, the place was decorated with flowers and tight security was deployed.
