Tollywood Hero Srikant has won many appreciations in the past for his various roles in films. When it comes to playing a cop role, his last release Terror and another film Duryodhana cant be forgotten.
The Police Officer Association in Hyderabad had sent him legal notice to Srikant and film makers alleging that they insulted the Police Department and further hurt their sentiments. They say that the film is all about mockery of respect of policemen in the society. They are now demanding that the film title be changed and objectionable scenes censored.
The film Mental Police is directed by K Babji.
