Uttama Villain starring Kamal Hassan was initially scheduled for release on May 1st, 2015. The morning shows have been cancelled in 4 states - Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra and Telangana. However, it might get released in the course of day once the issues settles down between the film makers and the financiers.
The film is said to be a Tamil comedy drama directed by Ramesh Aravind, Produced by Thirrupathi Brothers - being distributed worldwide by the Eros International. The story was written by Kamal Hassan himself. Crazy Mohan writes the film's dialogues while M. Ghibran composes the film's music.
