LG G4 set to be launched in India

After sending the cash registers ringing with its successful flag ship G3, LG looks all set to replicate the feat this year with it's new flagship model G4. Set to launch in India on 19th June 2015, the G4 has been priced at Rs. 51,500. Additionally it has also been confirmed that the South Korean giant will be launching their Dual SIM (Dual LTE) and Dual SIM variants in India.

Externally the G4 is an almost exact copy of the G3 except for the wider upper and lower bezels and a subtle curve in the display. LG has retained the buttons at the back, just below the rear camera, where the power buttons is flanked by volume rockers on both sides.

LG also continues to tread on an increasingly less trodden path by cell phone manufacturers these days and provides a removable battery, removable back cover and an expandable memory slot. The removable back covers are available in plastic (titanium black, gold and white ceramic) and the much hyped leather variants.

LG has made an improvement on it's Quad HD display, this time called Quantum display. The 5.5 inch IPS display screen maintains 2560 x 1440 resolution with a staggering pixel density of 538 ppi.

What really sets G4 apart from G3 are it's internal specifications.  Unlike the G3 which comes with Android 4.4.2 KitKat (but can be upgraded to Android 5.0) the G4 will come with Android 5.1 out of the box. Under the bonnet the G4 houses a hexa-core Snap Dragon 808 processor backed by 3 GB ram making it one of the more powerful phones in its category. The UI UX 4.0 is comparatively lighter and backed by the powerful processor and adequate ram guarantees smooth user experience.

The primary camera as well as the front facing camera are an upgrade from the G3 at 16 MP ad 8 MP respectively. The 16 MP camera comes with an f 1.8 aperture lens flanked by a laser auto focus  and an LED flash. It also includes a color spectrum sensor for the first time thus guaranteeing an  amazing photography experience.

Overall G4 seems all set on taking the market by storm and repeating G3's success.
