Ajith's film become the biggest opener ever in Tamil Nadu

Ajith's film Vadalam crossed over Rs. 15.5 crores at the box office on the opening day beating the earlier records held by Vijay's Kaththi and Rajini Kanth's Linga movies opening day collections at the box office.

Vijay's Kaththi could make around Rs. 12.5 crores at the box office on opening day while RajiniKanth's Linga made over Rs. 12.8 crores in the pasts. Now Ajith's Vadalam has surpassed these two records and set up new targets for the upcoming blockbusters.

Time to wait and watch on Vadalam's progress in the coming days.
