As the IPL season is on, the makers of the film "AZHAR" have revealed the first look of the movie. The biopic features Emraan Hashmi in the lead role and the biopic is impressive. Emraan plays the role of former Indian cricket team captain Azharuddin's. The movie is going to be all about the real life of Azharuddin, his wife Noreen and his affair and marriage with Sangeetha Bijlani.
Prachi Desai plays the role of his first wife Noreen while reports suggest that Jaquiline Fernandes or Nargis Fakhri may be part of the film to play Sangeetha Bijlani's role. Towards Azhar's end of his career and accusations of match fixing are going to be another major focus of the film.
The film is being held by Ekta Kapoor, directed by Tony D'Souza and scripted by Rajat Arora. The film is slated for release on May 13, 2016.
