RED ALERT ISSUED in Andhra Telangana as Temperatures Sour

The Meteorological Department has announced red alert for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states as temperatures sour. In most of the places, the temperature has touched between 44 degree celsius to 47 degree celsius. However people claim that its even more but the meteorological departments are putting the figures low for some reason. Right from the Britishers' time, the Government has to declare a holiday when the temperature touches 50 degree celsius and beyond. And further the Governments have to take certain measures which is all definitely a costly affair.

Most of the Telangana districts are issued red alert due to the heat wave severity. And the condition might prevail for over a week.

Bright hot sun starts at morning 7 am and the intensity increases as the noon approaches and the effect remains till evening 5 pm to 5:30 pm. We were never in this kind of situation in the past years. The places in coastal andhra on red alert are Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore from where more deaths have been reported due to hot dry winds. Interestingly, people even tried making omlets on the pan by keeping it in the hot sun.

The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. N Chandrababu Naidu has announced exgratia of 1 Lakh Rupee as compensation for the families of the deceased.
